Description
English: Recently discovered a striking color variation of Metapocyrtus reyesi, a weevil species typically known for its dark blue to cobalt blue coloration. Unlike the usual morph, this individual exhibits a lighter, almost turquoise hue, making it stand out remarkably from previously recorded specimens. This unique coloration may indicate a potential case of natural variation or localized adaptation, and it adds new insight into the phenotypic diversity within the species. Further observation and documentation may help determine whether this variation is rare or part of a broader, undocumented color range in M. reyesi.
